Hello, Please pray for my mind during this time. I manage my mental illness with medications and prayer yet at times it can be a bit more trying. It is my thorn in the flesh. Right now we have one family member who is dying of cancer and is in hospice and another family member who is fighting cancer and we want God’s divine intervention since he is a believer in Christ and is 87 years old. Please pray that God will hold my mind together through all of this and will bring comfort to our families and a bubble of protection around all of us and that all the unbelievers will come to Jesus in this life. Listener Mary is thanking the Lord for providing a safe place for her & her daughter to live after being in a broken down/moldy mobile home.  The need to move was great, and urgent, so she had to take on some loans to secure the new place.  She is asking for prayer for God to provide the means to cover her monthly bills, and for her other family member to be able to get into a safer living situation as well.

Please lift up listener L.P. and her sweet family in prayer for financial help, as her husband is recovering from surgery that will leave him needing SSI.  The process for SSI can be lengthy and confusing, so she’s asking for prayer for the money to come through quickly and for God to provide the $3500 they’re behind on.

Waking up every morning I read my Bible, for some reason I get distracted by songs in my head (it’s usually Christian music) and other things. I pray before I read, but things seem to bring up in my mind, it just keeps going. I pray for the armor of God but it seems I need more strength. I would like it if I get some help in this area thank you !

Today, God reached into my heart, and told me to start a prayer chain for my younger brother. His name is Cooper. He’s 21 years old, and suffers from bipolar and depression. My family has had a difficult time helping him manage his mental health. He has tried to commit suicide twice since 16 years old, by taking pills.  Cooper is a kind hearted boy who suffered from childhood trauma from divorce, the pain of his father not being present and losing the only father figure he had. He was also bullied from the time we moved to Austin from Katy when he was just 10, and has NEVER had friends here to turn to. He holds so much anger in his heart, and I believe he sees himself unworthy of GOD’S love. He doesn’t believe he is loved by the Father for all the pain he’s felt over the years.  His disorder has taken away his ability to work, to enjoy life, and feel any kind of joy that lasts. There is no financial support from the government to get him into a REAL bipolar therapy center, which costs well over $20,000. On Monday, he was taken to a 7 day facility in Austin after taking a bottle of xanax, but sadly those centers do nothing to help our youth. They are medicated and sent home after being monitored for several days.  Cooper has made it clear that he does not want to live “this life” anymore. So, I’m here asking our community to help us start a prayer chain for his soul. I’m asking those of you who believe in the power of strong prayer to please join us in asking GOD to work his miracles, and free Cooper of the spirits that bind him. Free him of his anger, his pain, and all that prevents him from seeing how truly loved and worthy he IS.  Everyday we lose young ones who take their own lives. I refuse to give up on my brother. He was the sweetest child….he loves his niece and nephews, and he deserves to live a life of happiness.

I’m going through a lot of trials right now and I need some help! I’ve been going through cancer recovery and I’ve seem to be down and out and behind on my bills.  I found out December 24th that I have stage 3 ovarian cancer. I’m currently going through treatment and have two little girls six and nine. I can’t work a lot and I’m getting behind and I just need some help. The Lord’s prayers have touched me and helped heal me and I will be okay. There’s just not a lot of financial help out there for after you’ve recovered and I’m still going to treatments.
